Jacquie Brand (Considerate to the needs of everyone in her class, always polite and friendly taking time to talk to new participants and always explaining the exercises or routines giving alternatives when needed, members enjoy her fit ball conditioning class saying it is easy to pick up for all ages and abilities and the results are fantastic!)
Founder of brand new u, Jacquie has been in the fitness industry as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer since 1994 and since then has been teaching in the community for herself and adult education, in Sleaford and in most of lincoln's health clubs.
Her qualifications and experiences include, Health Studies, K.F.A Exercise, Movement and Dance including Physiology of stretch, Adult Education teacher training and Anatomy and physiology. Focus Gym Instructor Diploma, Y.M.C.A Gym Instructor, Y.M.C.A Exercise Nutrition and Weight Management , Speedo Aqua fit, Step, Body conditioning, Boxercise Instructor and Boxercise Kick Instructor, Fox Fitness Salsa fit, Advanced Fitness Pilates, Fitness yoga, Fit ball level 2, Circuits, Flexible fusion, C.A understanding children and exercise, C.A children's Yoga, TKO(combat) , Pre and Post natal instructor certificate, she also attends regular training days with pure energy and fitness professionals.
For the past 4 years during school term time Jacquie has spent alot of time visiting schools all over the Lincolnshire region to teach fitness classes inc boxercise, salsa and Yoga to children aged 4 - 19 for which they get sponsored to raise money for charity, the children enjoy this so much that head teachers from several schools invited her back to teach courses during and after school.
During 2003 & 2004 worked along side LincsFm to put together training programs and advise for Lincoln 10k and Get fit for 2004.
During 2005 Jacquie began to put together her plans for a community fitness program to meet everyones needs from community member to instructor. Jacquies favourite regular classes are step, pump, body conditioning, relaxation and stretch, fitness pilates, 50+ and fit ball. Jacquie is registered with the exercise professionals and is insured through fitness professionals and holds current ppl.
